Workers NEEDED! We are in need of Adults to alternate on Wednesday nights for Children’s class immediately. Also Sunday School Teachers & Sunday AM children’s church teachers. All teachers must be a member of UPCOG & have a background check, if you are willing to serve in any of these areas please see Bro. Bill George. We currently have an open nursery, adult supervision only.
No PM Service on Sundays changes to be announced.
TGIF - Please continue to pray for Together Growing In Faith. Thank you for helping us make our December Bake Sale a success . We are collecting adult clothing and are participating in the Rice Harvest Festival to replenish SC COG Children's Home. There are other items needed like dry foods, paper products and other commodities used on a daily basis. Please drop these items off at the youth room. TGIF is planning a trip to deliver the rice by the due date in late February. There is more information in the foyer. Thank you for supporting the TGIF Chili Dinner Sunday 13th of January your donations will provide hotel stay for the March 29th trip to WarriorFest @ Omega Center International, with Perry Stone, in Cleveland Tennessee. TGIF MEXICO - We are also collecting baby clothes and care items for the folks in Mexico, these are the hardest things to attain for the little ones in need. Please drop all donations off at the youth room. Thank you for all your help, your generosity, and constant support.
Children’s Ministry – Every Sunday morning “SPLASH Kidz” meets at 11am in the fellowship hall. Wednesday 7pm room 106, ages 6-12 – “Kidz B.L.A.S.T.” (Bible Learning And Spiritual Training) – Meets Wednesdays at 7pm Currently looking for teachers and volunteers - pray and ask the Lord what HE would have you do.. If you would like to make a donate see supply list at UPkidz table located in the hallway by the conference room. THANK YOU to each of you who have come along side the Children's Ministry and given of your time to these young ones, your help, participation, and prayer support is greatly appreciated.
Hope Ministries Please come join us on some of our upcoming events. You r help and participation always helps gather people into the kingdom of God. So hope to see you come for some or all of these events. February 9th- Aiken Regional Hospital, meet in the lobby at 1:00pm March 16th Meeting at 1:00pm in the Valley for homeless outreach. See Jeanne Munzberg for location. (At the time location as not be determined) April 13th Shadow Oaks nursing home for Easter program at 2:00 pm. May 4th Street Ministry in the Valley, meeting at 1:00 pm See Jeanne Munzberg for location. (At the time location as not be determined). May 20th Hope Ministries planning meeting at UPCOG at 7:00pm. We are still waiting to get the needed paperwork processed to start a prison ministry. We will be adding dates once we are approved and are able to set dates. Our food pantry is need of donations of Canned and boxed food, pasta, and personal hygiene items. We are in need of volunteers; and as always prayers for the ministry.
