Support Chick-Fil-A? Guilty as Charged!

Recently Chick-Fil-A 's President, Dan Cathy came under fire for expressing his belief concerning marriage.  Here is his comment:

“I think we are inviting God’s judgment on our nation when we shake our fist at Him and say ‘we know better than you as to what constitutes a marriage’ and I pray God’s mercy on our generation that has such a prideful, arrogant attitude to think that we have the audacity to define what marriage is about.”  -  Dan Cathy

As I look around me and test the atmosphere in America, I've come to the conclusion that we are seeing the beginnings of judgment.  If you read the blessings and cursings of Deut. 28 you can see where we are going down the wrong road:

- We have a national debt of over 15 Trillion dollars and growing!

- We live in a nation that is ruled by Terror!

- The military is being weaken to a point that we can't influence the world as we once did!

- Our natural resources are not being developed due to fear of what will happen if we do!

- Wisdom has been removed from our leaders who make decisions concerning national security!  Secure the borders!

- We are seeing the beginning of great famine...no rain in the bread basket state - IOWA.

- We are number three in AREO Space, behind China and Russia.  We ask for a lift the International Space Station.

-  1 out of every 2 1/2 persons are on government support of some type!

I could go on but I believe that this is enough. I believe that if we would seek God for the answer to the above problems He would give us the answer...here is what God told the Great Prophet Jeremiah.

Jer 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

God has the answers!  He even has the answer what is the definition of Marriage!

Guilty as Charged.  I support Chick-Fil-A!

Jedidiah Morse Sending The U.S.A. a Message from the Past

As I was reading through my American Patriot's Bible this week, I came across an article on Jedidiah Morse.  Discovering that He and his son Samuel Morse together fathered insight on the American Telegraph.

I continued to read how passionate He was to warn the Christians of his day that if the pillars of Christianity crumbled so would the republic.  I echo his concern today!

Psa 11:3 If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?

We the people have a voice, let's let it be know November 2012 ... individual liberty, freedom of religion, fiscal responsibility, One Nation Under God and,  we will have no King but King Jesus!

Jedidiah's Famous Quote:

"To the kindly influence of Christianity we owe that degree of civil freedom, and political and social happiness which mankind now enjoys.... Whenever the pillars of Christianity shall be overthrown, our present republican forms of government, and all blessings which flow from them, must fall with them." Jedediah Morse

Some Facts about Jedidiah Morse

Jedidiah Morse (August 23, 1761 – June 9, 1826) was a notable geographer whose textbooks became a staple for students in the United States. He was the father of telegraphy pioneer and painter Samuel F. B. Morse, and his textbooks earned him the sobriquet of "father of American geography."

Born to a New England family in Woodstock, Connecticut, Morse did his undergraduate work and earned a divinity degree at Yale University (M.A. 1786). While pursuing his theological studies studies under Jonathan Edwards and Samuel Watts, in 1783 he established a school for young women in New Haven.[1]

Career

In the summer of 1785 he was licensed to preach, but continued to occupy himself with teaching. He became a tutor at Yale in June 1786, but, resigning this office, was ordained on 9 November 1786, and settled in Medway, Georgia, where he remained until August of the following year. He spent the winter of 1787/8 in New Haven in geographical work, preaching on Sundays to vacant parishes in the vicinity.[1]

Religious activities

He became a pastor in Charlestown, Massachusetts (across Boston harbor) on 30 April 1789, where he served until 1820.[1] Among his friends and numerous correspondents were Noah Webster, Benjamin Silliman and Jeremy Belknap. In 1795 he received the degree of D.D. from the University of Edinburgh.[1]

Throughout his life he was much occupied with religious controversy, and in upholding the faith of the New England church against the assaults of Unitarianism. Ultimately his persevering opposition to liberal views of religion brought on him a persecution that affected deeply his naturally delicate health.

May 2012 - Pastor's Blog - What is a QR Code?

Let's see what is a QR Code...According to Wikipedia it is...

QR Code (abbreviated from Quick Response Code) is the trademark for a type of matrix barcode (or two-dimensional code) first designed for the automotive industry. More recently, the system has become popular outside the industry due to its fast readability and large storage capacity compared to standard UPC barcodes. The code consists of black modules (square dots) arranged in a square pattern on a white background. The information encoded can be made up of four standardized kinds ("modes") of data (numeric, alphanumeric, byte/binary, Kanji), or through supported extensions, virtually any kind of data.

So we see that hidden within these codes can be information concering products or websites of vendors or companies.  To see what is in one of the QR codes you must have a smart phone with a program installed to scan and read the QR code.  God is at work with His QR code, one must see it through the eyes of God...check out this QR code!

Leave a comment if you see it!  God is at work!

It's Time To Stand With Israel

As the Middle East continues to change and Iran seeks to obtain a nuclear weapon, the United States seems to be on a road to distant herself from Israel.  I thought I would never see the day when hand shakes and statements like "we got your back" would not hold water.

Iran's religious leaders has implied that when they obtain a nuclear weapon, they will annihilate Israel and start a war between the East and West.

Many in Israel still have the tattoos on their bodies from the concentration camps under Hitler's regime.

It's time to take a firm stand with our alliance with Israel and say that Israel has a right to defend herself, they are a sovereign nation, and they have a right to insure their security.

The current administration doesn't seem to understand that as it goes toward Israel so it goes toward the United States...God said in

Gen 12:3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

I see our nation on a misguided road to distant itself from Christians, Jesus Christ, Abortion Issues, Prayer in Schools, Support of reading "the Holy Bible", and now the only democracy in the Middle East ISRAEL!

I'm calling on the national leaders not to remain silent but to support Israel and make polices that will help to insure the survival of Israel.  I encourage you to Stand With Me as I Stand With Israel!

Pastor you are absolutely correct and as you have taught us, whether our leaders do the right thing or not, we as individuals can. I stand and will stand for Israel through my prayers and what financial support I can. Thank you for bringing truth.
