UPCOG Music Ministry

Psalms 34:3 O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.

Psalms 100:4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

Our worship involves music, the Word, praise, testimony, and both physical and vocal responses.

The Audio/Visual Ministry uses many aspects of sound and video technology to convey God's message to the church.

…..radical demonstrations….

It may be filled with radical demonstrations of praise and at other times be very quiet and personal.

God longs for us to draw closer to Him. As I magnify the Lord, He will not change, but my perception of God will change. I will begin to see things I have never seen or understood before.

Praise stills the enemy…

Praise stills the enemy and stops him in his tracks. Your praise will draw the presence of God into the midst of your situation. Praise is the greatest act of faith you will ever extend. It’s not declaring what God has done, but what He is going to do. Praise delivers, praise sets free, and praise restores.

God wants worshippers…

Just singing beautiful songs about the Lord is not enough. We need to speak to Him, worshipping with words of adoration. When we worship God, we are declaring who He is. God molds us when we become intimate with Him. Our worship gets His presence and His glory in the house. The core of worship is when your heart and soul adores and connects with the spirit of God. God wants worshippers who are not just part of the crowd, but who will stand out from the crowd.

The UPCOG music ministry consists of the choir, frontline singers and band participating in three services on Sunday.  They also perform during revivals throughout the year, television specials, and ministry retreats.

Choir rehearsals are on Wednesdays at 7 PM, one Saturday per month, with band rehearsals rotating weekly from Wednesday through Friday night.
