"MUH"

Louise Herron Plunkett, best known as "Muh" was born August 14, 1928. Her parents were Otto and Fannie Mae Herron. Muh was the oldest of five children. She and my Dad married when Mother was 15 and Daddy was 25. There was a real love story when we think of those two. Muh always said that she loved my Daddy from the time that she knew what love was. They were married almost 50 years. Dad died in 1985 and we would ask her if she wanted to remarry and her response was always, "I wouldn't change my name from Plunkett for anyone." There are three children from their marriage, Col. Robert Charles Plunkett, Gail P. Toole and Wilson Plunkett. Muh was quite a character and there are not many days that her name does not come up. We miss both our parents and the most important thing of all is that Daddy was saved at Shiloh Baptist Church and Muh was saved at Vaucluse Road Church of God now known as University Parkway Church of God. Pastor Shaffer preached Muh's funeral, which was one of his first. It will be such a time of rejoicing when we all get to heaven and see our loved ones again.
